Jade Bay

Jade Bay is actually an extension of Akumal Bay and only about a 15 minute walk along the beach to the south.  The waves break closer to shore over the Meso American reef system than in Akumal Bay but the sandy beach is also a destination for turtles to nest. Like other Akumal communities, the beach road is not a tru road so there is little traffic. It's a small neighborhood but has a delicious beach restaurant called the Jungle Fish.

There's a lot to do and see in the serene environment with captivating views of the Caribbean. Spend your day relaxing on the beach - snorkeling, swimming, sunning or take a stroll.
